It’s our mission to help students find their way back to God! We want each student to know and experience God’s love and grace, and urge them to take the next step from wherever they are – to grow closer to Jesus. It’s our desire and passion for youth to build authentic relationships with other students and leaders so they can actively explore what living out their faith looks like. We want to help empower each student to make a difference in their home, school, and community!
About our Sunday night format… Matthew 22:37-40 and Matthew 28:19 are the words of Jesus which are commonly called the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. They are the two most important statements which gives insight to how disciples of Jesus live, and what our mission should be. From them, three dominant themes of a community of disciples emerge:
UP – worship together | IN – gaining community as a group | OUT – serving our community
It takes a village, right? We would invite you to partner with us in student ministries in the following ways:
Provide snacks and drinks for our middle school ministry Sunday evening gatherings.
Provide a meal to our high school ministry on one of our Sunday evening gatherings. Sign up here to provide a meal on a Sunday evening.
Serve as a student ministries volunteer. Students need trusted mentors of all ages to gain wisdom from and to confide in as they discover who God is and as they seek to make their identity in Him. Click here to complete our volunteer application.
Pray for our middle school and high school student ministry.
We send a weekly email to keep parents well informed of what we’re teaching in Student Ministries each Sunday so that you can carry on the conversation at home! If you are interested in receiving these emails, contact Gina Abbas, Student Ministries Director or Carol Koppenaal, High School Coordinator.
